Wisdom World School is proud to have Ms. Simoes as its Director of Schools Program and the Principal of Wisdom World School, Wakad, Pune. Ms. Simoes was with St. Mary's School, Pune for 24 years. She has over four decades of experience as an Educationist.
Ms. Simoes has a wide administrative experience as Vice Principal of St. Mary's School, Boys' Section, Pune from 1993 to 2006. Thereafter, she was the Principal of St. Mary's School till April 2010 and the Principal of St. Mary's Junior College (I.S.C.) from its inception to April 2010.
Ms. Simoes is a highly versatile and dynamic person and brings her vision of providing quality education to all at Wisdom World School. On 5th September 2014, she was conferred the National Award for Teachers by the President of India - Dr. Pranab Mukherjee. On 23rd November 2016, she received the prestigious Derozio Award for Excellence in Education and Human Enrichment. It is the highest recognition given by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE Board).
Ms. Simoes has visited international schools and conferences and has inculcated all those positives in the Wisdom World Schools that she heads as Director.

Mrs. Amita Seth completed her schooling from leading Convent of Jesus and Mary schools in Mumbai, and graduated with a B.Ed. from Xavier’s Academy, Mumbai. She went on to complete her post-graduation with an M.Sc. in Life Sciences from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and a double post-graduation with an M.Ed. degree from Tilak College, Pune.
Mrs. Seth has over thirty years of teaching experience and has been associated with various Boards like the SSC (State) Board, the ICSE (National) Board and also international curricula like the IB and IGCSE. Mrs. Seth has authored three textbooks in Biology for the ICSE curriculum for Classes 6, 7, and 8.
In her role as a teacher, she has received several 'Best Teacher' and 'Teacher of the Year' awards from the schools that she has taught in. She has been instrumental in leading remedial teaching in Small Group Instruction to students who need help beyond the classroom.
To her, children are soft and mouldable like clay and are perfect to work on. She believes in the holistic development of every student, where teachers, parents, and the community must work in tandem to transform them into agile, empathetic, creative, and contributing citizens.
